Terms of Service

https://www.scriptureplushies.com (the “Site”) is operated by The Plushie Company, trading as Scripture Plushies (“we,” “us,” “our”). By browsing the Site or placing an order you agree to these Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, and Shipping Policy, each of which forms part of these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site or place an order.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these terms, to place an order. By ordering you confirm that the payment method you use is your own or that you have authorisation to use it.

Our products are toys intended for children, but the Site itself is directed to adults. We do not knowingly sell to children directly.

We describe and photograph every product as accurately as we can. Because our plushies are made from dyed fabric in small batches, the exact shade of a robe, the placement of stitching, and the tone of a fabric can vary slightly between production runs and from the photos on the Site. Screens also render colour differently. These variations are normal and are not defects.

Stated dimensions are approximate and measured by hand. Product availability, descriptions and prices may change at any time without notice, and we may discontinue any product.

Our plushies are made as children's soft toys with embroidered faces and no small detachable parts. Even so, no soft toy should be treated as unsupervised bedding for an infant. Follow any age guidance on the product page and the care instructions in our care guide.

Inspect toys regularly for wear. Stop using any item whose seams have opened or whose stuffing is exposed, and contact us — if it failed prematurely we will replace it.

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept that offer when we charge your payment method and send you an order confirmation. Until then, no contract exists between us.

All prices are shown in US dollars and exclude taxes and shipping, which are calculated at checkout. We may limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order.

Despite our best efforts, an item may occasionally be mispriced or listed as available when it is not. Where that happens we may cancel the order and refund you in full. We will not substitute a different product without asking you first.

Some characters are sold by preorder — the design is finalised but the production batch has not yet arrived. Preorders are charged at the time you order, because the number of preorders is how we size the batch.

Each preorder listing shows the expected shipping window. Those windows are our best estimate and can move; if a date changes materially we will email you. You may cancel a preorder for a full refund at any time before it ships by emailing hello@theplushiecompany.com.

Where an order contains both in-stock and preordered items, the in-stock items ship first and the preorder follows separately at no additional shipping cost.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number — Stripe handles card data directly under its own terms and privacy policy. We receive only the result of the transaction and the last four digits of the card.

Charges appear on your statement as THE PLUSHIE CO, the name of our operating company. If you do not recognise a charge, please contact us before disputing it — we can almost always resolve it faster than a chargeback can.

You are responsible for any sales, use or import taxes and any customs duties assessed on your order, except where we collect them at checkout.

Shipping timeframes, rates and destinations are set out in our Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and we are not responsible for carrier delays outside our control.

Title and risk of loss pass to you when we hand the parcel to the carrier. That said, we do not walk away from a package that goes missing in transit — see the Shipping Policy for how we handle it.

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, on the conditions set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy. That policy forms part of these terms.

Discount codes are single-use unless stated otherwise, cannot be combined, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn at any time before an order is placed. We may void codes obtained through error, automation, or resale.

Joining our drop list means you agree to receive marketing email about new releases. Every email contains an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list entirely. Being on the list does not reserve or guarantee stock in any drop.

The Site and everything in it — our character designs, product photography, illustrations, text, logo and name — belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may browse, share links, and use the Site for your own shopping.

You may not copy our product photography or character designs for commercial use, resell our products as your own brand, manufacture derivative products from our designs, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission.

Scripture quotations on the Site are from public-domain translations.

Do not use the Site to break the law, to place fraudulent orders, to scrape or bulk-download it, to interfere with its security or availability, or to upload anything malicious. We may refuse service, cancel orders, or block access where we reasonably believe this has happened.

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Nothing here limits any warranty or right that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your rights as a consumer.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Plushie Company and its owners, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the Site or any product bought through it.

Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Plushie Company from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Utah will have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to venue there.

Talk to us first. If something goes wrong, email hello@theplushiecompany.com and give us 30 days to put it right. Almost everything is solved faster this way than through a formal dispute.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you place an order is the version that governs that order. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
