We make the scriptures
huggable.
Scripture Plushies started at a kitchen table, with two parents trying to get through a bedtime story without losing the room.

Our kids would sit still for exactly four minutes of a story. Then one night we handed them a stuffed animal and told them it was the donkey that carried Mary — and they sat through the whole thing, holding on.
That was the whole idea. Kids learn with their hands. If the people in the story are people you can hold, the story stops being something read at them and becomes something they are part of.
So we started making them properly. Real plush, embroidered faces, robes that come off, details pulled straight from the passage. One character at a time, in small batches, until the whole cast is here.
“Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not.”
Mark 10:14
Four steps, and a lot of redrawing.
We read the story first
Every character starts with the passage open. What was he carrying? What colour was her robe? The details kids notice are the ones we get right.
We sketch until the face is kind
This is the part that takes longest. A scripture character has to look warm without looking like a cartoon — we redraw until it feels right to hold.
We sample, hug, and fix
Prototypes go home with real families. If a robe won't stay on or a seam doesn't survive a toddler, it goes back to the table.
We make a small batch
Then we make a limited run, send it to the drop list first, and start on the next story.
Things people ask us
All of them. Faces are embroidered rather than glued on, there are no beads, buttons, or small parts, and everything is sewn to survive being dragged around by the ankle. They are safe from birth.
Spot clean with a little mild soap and cool water, then air dry — no dryer. Removable robes can be hand washed on their own and laid flat.
It means the character is designed and confirmed but the batch hasn't landed yet. We charge when you order so we know how many to make, and we ship the moment it arrives. You can cancel for a full refund any time before it ships.
Roughly monthly, sometimes every other month if a character is complicated. Every drop is a small batch, and the drop list hears about it 48 hours before anyone else.
In-stock characters leave the workshop in 1–2 business days and usually arrive within a week. Shipping is $8.99 per plushie, and sales tax is added at checkout where it applies.
Yes — 30 days from delivery, for any reason, as long as it comes back in the condition it arrived in. Email us and we'll sort it out. Faulty or damaged items are replaced at our cost, and we cover the return postage on those.
Come meet the next character first.
